RIZBAF 164*232
Description / RIZBAF 164*232
Rizbaf are fine Gabbeh rugs with a higher knot density. These high pile rugs are handmade by the Gashghai and Lori nomads. Often Rizbaf are knotted from handspun wool. This material gives them a lively and coarse-grained surface texture. At the same time, the surface is soft and cozy, ideal for rooms where people like to move around barefoot. Rizbaf are knotted not only in monochrome natural colors, but especially in colorful and imaginative designs. Stylized patterns from the everyday life of nomads, which show animals, plants or entire landscapes, can be found as well as geometric concepts.
